The Asthma Partnership of New York (APNY) combines an advisory Steering Committee comprised of multi-sector partners and key organizational stakeholders and a General Membership which includes professionals contributing to NY’s asthma workforce and individuals living with and/or impacted by asthma. APNY fosters collaboration across partners working to expand comprehensive, evidence-based asthma control services in NYS and disseminates educational information and opportunities for asthma-related trainings and resources.

Reducing the Burden of Asthma

The Asthma Partnership of New York is co-chaired by two appointed advisors, the Division Director of the American Lung Association’s NYS Asthma Team and a physician subject matter expert in asthma from a leading health system in New York State. APNY co-chairs provide leadership to an active Steering Committee which consists of organizational leaders and key decision makers positioned within their respective organization, to drive clinical, programmatic, and/or policy efforts impacting New York’s children with asthma. In addition to the Steering Committee, APNY’s general statewide membership provides a forum for anyone more broadly interested in learning about asthma, accessing available asthma-related resources, and/or participating in local, regional, and/or statewide efforts to address asthma.

Join us to receive educational information and resources on asthma and to stay informed about ongoing and upcoming statewide opportunities to contribute to the NYS Children’s Asthma Initiative efforts to reduce the burden of asthma!
